Gaffe in the Garden
Updated: Mar 10
My husband and I recently visited our local Biblical Gardens, a beautiful walking trail through pines and plants. Along the path there are verses engraved on signs and sculptures that describe the Gospel story. On this lazy, Sunday afternoon, we strolled along the stream and sat quietly on a bench for a while. In addition to our lofty spiritual thoughts, we also spent our entire lunch discussing how we would punctuate and re-phrase this sign. (I love this guy; he gets me!) Noting the hand-corrected "you're," someone else had the same idea. How would you edit it?
